    Description  Tom Tom Founders Festival kicks off five days of music, art, and innovation in Charlottesville, VA with this Crowdfunded Pitch Night, hosted in The Haven, Downtown by the i.Lab at U.Va. Chip in $10 at the door to cast a vote toward your favorite business idea: Ten local artists, innovators, and entrepreneurs will have 3 minutes each to pitch their concept for the chance to win $5,000 and a place in the i.Lab. Check out tomtomfest.com for more events and the latest news on lineup.

    What: Eli Conley 
    Description  Singer-songwriter Eli Conley will return to his home state of Virginia for an East Coast Tour April 10–25 promoting his debut studio album At The Seams. He will be accompanied on this tour by electric cellist Constance Sisk of Palmyra and mandolin and fiddler Joel Price of Philadelphia. Eli and his band will be appearing 8 p.m. Thursday, April 10 at Bon, sharing the stage with jazz/funk songwriter Gina Sobel and her band. This show is all ages, and the suggested donation is $5, with no one turned away for lack of funds. Bon is located at 100 West South Street in Charlottesville.     What  Tom Tom Founders Festival
    Description  Tom Tom Founders Festival begins a weekend of music, art, and innovation with a gala concert, an art workshop, a panel on inspiration, an agribusiness roundtable, and insights from one of Facebook’s key entrepreneurs, Sam Odio. Follow the links to RSVP.  Ever since he put himself through U.Va. by running his own computer repair service, Sam Odio has been founding successful ventures. Before starting his current company, the Y Combinator backed Freshplum, he created the app which is now known as Facebook Photos. On Thursday night he will be talking about Cultures of Founding at The Haven, Downtown.     Description Friday is packed with innovation talks, workshops, and competitions during the day, a massive, family friendly block party in the evening, and concerts across Downtown Charlottesville at night. Highlights include a keynote by Ryan Jacoby, founder of MACHINE and former director of IDEO New York, speaking on “Agile Giants”, a Design Marathon pairing creatives and nonprofits, and a keynote by IBM’s Cloud Evangelist and all time leading patent holder Rick Hamilton.     Description  Miss Brown to You is coming to play a gig at BON.  They are a blues/jazz/folk/rock duo from Oklahoma City with the sweetest sound ever.  They are a couple and hugely popular in the Women's community in Oklahoma.  $5 cover.
