    What: ROSMY Facilitator Training
    Description: Become a trained ROSMY facilitator and work directly with GLBTQ youth ages 14-20 in a support group setting. You must be 23 years old or over to become a facilitator. An application and background check are required. Please e-mail Youth Programs Coordinator and Volunteer Manager Ashley Mitchell at youthprograms@rosmy.org to sign-up for training. This is a unique and great experience to work with youth who struggle with sexual orientation and gender identity. We look forward to seeing you there! *YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH PORTIONS OF THE TRAINING FOR YOUR CERTIFICATION TO DEEM YOU A FACILITATOR. *Dinner will be provided on Friday and lunch on Saturday.

    What: Minds Wide Open - Richmond Men's Chorus and Women's Chorus
    Description: The Richmond Men's Chorus and newly-formed Richmond Women's Chorus present the Richmond premier benefit concert "Sing for the Cure" in partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, and as part of Minds Wide Open: Virginia Celebrates Women in the Arts. Celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Sing for the Cure is an original choral song cycle for chorus, orchestra, and narrators, based on the true stories of breast cancer survivors and their families. In addition, each chorus will individually perform selections by female composers to celebrate Minds Wide Open. Tickets are $15 adults, $10 seniors/students.     Description: Join Equality Virginia at the GCCR Gallery in Richmond for the opening reception and artist award announcements for the 2010 Art Show and Benefit. Selected artists will be showcased through April 30, 2010. The pieces will then be available for sale at the Commonwealth Dinner Silent Auction on Saturday, May 1, 2010.
