    The Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) warmly invites all LGBT+ and Allies to dinner!  Bring a favorite food to share. Turkey will be provided.  Plan to either help set-up (11 am) or clean-up.  Your family and friends are also welcome to join us in this feast of joyful sharing of food & love.  Info on Facebook, or RSVP in advance to Carol Saliba.

    LGBTQ Senior Social Gathering
    In the wake of the very successful pride festival screening of the film GEN SILENT, about the challenges facing the aging LGBTQ population, an informal gathering is forming. We invite LGBTQ seniors to join us for monthly lunches or coffee - we'll see how it evolves and what is needed.  Community is crucial!  Anyone interested can send contact info and/or questions to or call 434.825.5502 to speak with Deb Winslow.

    Paula Poundstone
    The Paramount Theater in Charlottesville, VA welcomes comedian Paula Poundstone Friday, December 4th.  Thirty two years ago Paula Poundstone climbed on a Greyhound bus and traveled across the country -- stopping in at open mic nights at comedy clubs as she went.  She went on to become one of our country’s foremost humorists.

    On Our Own - Queer Support Group
    An LGBTQ support group meets at On Our Own, an organization helping people transition from homelessness, on Fridays 2:15-3:15 p.m. Our community facilitators, Elizabeth Knotts , and Lawrence Elliott, will lead us in discussion topics, brainstorms, and support discussions on queer topics and everyday living joys and challenges. This is a closed meeting, meaning that you must self- identify in order to attend (note: that does notmean that you must participate). Anyone is welcome although you must be 18 or older to come to OOO..
