Chat List

    chat@gaycville.org. The "chat" list is any and all sorts of discussion, planning, opinions, etc.

Listserv Etiquette

  • Anyone can subscribe to the lists.
  • We've created these lists as a public resource for members of the gay and lesbian community in the Charlottesville area.
  • These are closed lists which means that only people on the list can post to the list. This will help protect you from receiving spam (at least from this list).
  • The lists are unmoderated. This means that you can post whatever you want, but it doesn't mean you should. Anyone posting inappropriate material will be removed from the list.
  • The lists are intended for personal, local use and not for commercial purposes. However, announcements of events, political announcements and other information of interest will be allowed.

Troubleshooting

    If you are not receiving list email, try the following.

    Hotmail users

  • Select the "Options" link, in the upper right hand corner
  • Select the "Mail" link, on the left hand side
  • Select the "Junk Email Protection" link
  • Select the "Mailing Lists" link
  • Type in "info@gaycville.org" (without the quotes) and press the "Add" button
  • Type in "lville@gaycville.org" (without the qutoes) and press the "Add" button
  • Press the "OK" button
