Equality Virginia - A statewide, non-partisan lobbying, education and support network for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and straight allied communities in Virginia.

PFLAG - Blue Ridge - Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays - Blue Ridge Chapter.
ROSMY Blue Ridge - Provides services for Central Virginia's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning Youth.
AIDS/HIV Services Group - Charlottesville group for AIDS support and awareness.
GayCville.org - Web portal for the charlottesville gay and lesbian community. Human Rights Campaign - Provides a national voice on gay and lesbian issues. Works for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equal rights by lobbying the federal government, educating the public, participating in election campaigns, organizing volunteers, and providing training at the state and local levels.

Shelter for Help in Emergency - The Shelter offers a variety of services to empower victims of domestic violence and create a community of support.
Planned Parenthood Health Systems - GLBT-friendly health care and advocates for the right to make private, personal decisions about sexuality and health care. To make an appointment, call 296-1000.
The Women's Initiative - The mission of The Women's Initiative is to provide effective education, social support, and counseling services to empower women of all ages to transform challenging life situations into opportunities for personal growth and renewed well being.
Virginia Anti-Violence Project - A statewide organization working to address all forms of violence impacting LGBTQ communities, including hate violence, domestic and sexual violence, racism, classism, sexism, heterosexism and all other forms of discrimination. Our work is done through promoting respectful and equitable relationships, community accountability, access to survivor support, and affirming collaborations.
