    Human Rights Campaign - Provides a national voice on gay and lesbian issues. Works for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equal rights by lobbying the federal government, educating the public, participating in election campaigns, organizing volunteers, and providing training at the state and local levels.

    UVA Pride: LGBT Faculty, Staff,and Graduate Student Association - Provides a coordinated network of University offices and organizations for communication, assistance, and support on gay, lesbian, bisexual and transexual concerns.

    Soka Gakkai International - Practitioners reflect a cross section of our diverse American society representing a broad range of ethnic and social backgrounds. The SGI has a same-sex marriage ceremony and has appointed national GLBT leaders.

    The Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA) - SARA recognizes that sexual violence occurs in the LGBTQ Community. SARA offers safety, support, and resources for survivors, their families, and friends.

    Planned Parenthood Health Systems - GLBT-friendly health care and advocates for the right to make private, personal decisions about sexuality and health care. To make an appointment, call 296-1000.
